New Midlands headquarters for engineering giant
Groundwork engineering giant Ischebeck Titan has invested in a huge new headquarters in Burton-on-Trent and says it is planning to create “many” new jobs at the site.
The 64,000 sq ft unit includes a 57,000 sq ft distribution centre and a 7,000 sq ft office which will house senior management, marketing, operations, finance and HR departments.
The new facility is located just a few hundred metres from the firm’s existing premises on Wellington Road in the town.
Stuart Bamford, managing director of Ischebeck Titan Group in the UK, says the firm is looking to recruit new staff across a variety of disciplines to add to the 36 people it currently employs at Burton.
He said: “Our investment has not only financed new offices, we’ve also upgraded our operations with additional product lines, innovations and increased stock levels in the UK.
“As the formwork and ground engineering division looks forward to celebrating its 30th anniversary in the UK next year, we’re proud to have a continued, strong presence in Burton.
“Our UK operations started in a single Port-a-cabin and since then we’ve come a long way. We’re stronger than ever, which is down to the company’s continuous innovation and our exceptionally talented and loyal staff.”
The Ischebeck Titan Group, a specialist provider of engineered solutions for concrete frame construction and ground engineering applications in the civil engineering and construction industries, has also recently opened a new 104,000 sq ft Dubai headquarters.
