Pub group creates 30 jobs at new bistro

Copper Bingham

Great Northern Group has opened another branch of its Copper bistro chain, creating 30 new jobs.

The new outlet at 18a Market Place in Bingham is the Nottingham-based company’s fourth Copper venue in the county.

While many of the 19th century features of the listed former office building have been retained, the firm has invested around £500,000 in an interior fit-out which has seen the premises take on the distinctive Copper style.

Commercial property associate Liam Wilkinson of Fraser Brown Solicitors negotiated a 20 year lease for the pub Group, while licensing associate Joanne Soar assisted in successfully applying for a premises licence to serve alcohol at the property.

Wilkinson said: “We were pleased to act on behalf of our client to secure a prime location for the new Copper restaurant in the charming market town of Bingham. Copper is well-placed to serve the busy community and we wish it every success.”

The Group, which previously traded as Great Northern Inns, was restructured after being liquidated earlier this year.
