Chancellor drops in at digital agency

(L-R): Sajid Javid, Liam Nelson and Rob Twells

Chancellor of the Exchequer Sajid Javid paid a surprise visit to digital marketing agency Frogspark during a trip to Derby yesterday.

Javid met the agency’s team and spent time with its founders Rob Twells and Liam Nelson, who were given the opportunity to ask questions and raise concerns during a private meeting.

Their questions addressed topics ranging from housing to taxation and were well received by the Chancellor.

Twells said: It’s great that Frogspark was chosen for a visit, it’s was hugely important for us to ask questions that related to not only business but also our team. Politics is always a complicated subject and to be honest, I just want the best future for myself and those around me.”

Nelson added: “The visit was brief, but it was a great opportunity for us to get an insight into the goings-on at Downing Street. We know we’re only a small voice, but I do believe it’s crucial for those involved to hear it directly from those who could potentially be affected by any decisions going forward.”

Twells and Nelson said the company has no allegiance to the Conservative party, but added that the meeting with Javid offered valuable insight into this Thursday’s election.
