On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Matt Sparrow

The IFP Group has appointed a new senior manager as part of its 2020 growth plans.

The Derbyshire-headquartered Group includes food and drink consultancy Integrated Food Projects, engineering consultants SDA Design Consultants and construction firm IFP Construction.

New recruit Matt Sparrow brings over 18 years of construction experience to the company.

He said: “Our goal is to make IFP Construction the go-to food and drink construction business.

“In this new role I’ll be developing the business to deliver projects in a much quicker timeframe than traditional construction processes due to our tailored contractual offerings.

“We’re preparing ourselves for a surge in new business this year, and this will be an exciting time that we are keen to grasp with both hands. We have rapid growth plans to increase turnover threefold in the next three years, initially concentrating on the UK as a primary market before working further afield in the future.”

Elsewhere, in vivo pharmacology and consultancy services firm RenaSci – part of Nottingham-based Sygnature Group – has bolstered its kidney disease and fibrosis capabilities with the appointment of Dr Wioletta Pijacka.
