Hospital bed supplier expands into 25,000 sq ft premises

FHP Property Consultants has completed the letting of a c. 25,000 sq ft unit in Castle Donington to Medstrom, the Derbyshire-based supplier of specialist hospital beds and bed management services to the NHS.

The detached warehouse on Hawthorn Road had been the subject of substantial interest before FHP wrapped up the deal on behalf of a Leeds-based property company.

Matthew Liggins of Musson Liggins acted on behalf of Medstrom.

Tim Gilbertson of FHP said: “I had previously let this building for our client some years ago and was delighted to see it become available again as I knew it would immediately fill a hole in the market for good quality warehouse space in the region.

“Strong interest was received from our targeted marketing from the word go and it was great to agree a deal with Matt Liggins acting on behalf of Medstrom having previously let them other space area some years before.

“Their continued growth is impressive and I am sure this building will serve them well for the future.”
