Cattle feed spillage closes A6 in Derbyshire

The A6 is closed northbound between the B5010 (Thulston) and the A5111 near Derby due to a collision which has resulted in a trailer carrying cattle feed overturning.

Derbyshire Police and Highways England traffic officers are on scene.

Highways England says a diversion is in place: at the Thulston roundabout take the slip road onto the former A6 – Shardlow road north west. Continue straight ahead at the Blue Peter roundabout onto the A5111 and at the folowing Raynesway roundabout with the A6 take the 2nd exit onto the A5111 follow for 500 metres to rejoin the northbound A5111 at the Raynesway roundabout.
