On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

A Leicestershire commercial insurance broker has promoted three senior managers to director.

Leonie Rainbow, Liudmila Matvievskaia and Jacob Duckworth all step up within the operations, finance and client services divisions respectively at Loughborough-based Anthony James Insurance Brokers.

Managing director Steve Boorman said: “It gives me an enormous sense of pride to see Leonie, Liudmila and Jacob doing so well in their careers and in the business. We’ve enjoyed growth across all of our sectors for the last few years but that is only achievable and indeed sustainable if you have a strong team across all of the management disciplines.

“We now face our most testing time as our clients and ourselves have to step up to the most unusual circumstances that I have ever had to deal with in my career and I can say there have been some tricky ones before, however, I know we will do that together with this great team.”

Ross Greig is stepping down as managing director of Derbyshire-based Ometis, handing the reins of Qlik consultancy to Andy Patrick who has been named the new MD with immediate effect.

Greig will take on a newly-formed chairman’s role at Ometis, while Alex Walker becomes operations director, Caroline Wood becomes head of finance and Qlik luminary Chris Lofthouse is now head of consulting services.

Charan Atti moves into a new relationship management role.

Patrick said: “I’m delighted and hugely proud to take on the mantle as Managing Director of Ometis. It’s been a privilege to watch Ometis grow under Ross’ tenure and he leaves big shoes to fill but I’m ready to take Ometis into the new decade. This is a great business, with a strong management team and an exciting plan to deliver growth in the future. We’ll continue to evolve and adapt with the market to ensure we’re providing the most efficient, cost-effective data solutions for our clients.”
