On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Hallam, the Nottingham digital marketing agency, has made two new appointments to its management team.

Jack Brown, who has worked in PPC for more than four years, will be stepping into the role of head of paid media. Meanwhile, search expert, Elliot Haines, has been appointed as head of SEO, taking over from Charlotte Tomlinson, who was promoted to media director.

In total, there have been 11 internal promotions in the company in the last three months, following Julio Taylor and Jake Third’s appointments as CEO and MD at the beginning of May respectively.

Former account managers, Natasha Green and Bethany Pigott, have also been named delivery team leaders in project management and account management respectively.

Martin White

Following a £100,000 investment to create a dedicated training facility, Ashby-based engineering, health and safety and environmental risk consultants Finch Consulting has promoted Martin White to head of training.

White, who joined Finch in October 2019, has over 20 years of machine safety and consultancy experience. He is a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and joined Finch from TÜV SÜD, a leading international expert in providing testing, product certification, qualification, training and knowledge services.

He said: “My overarching goal is to ensure our training programmes contribute to the goals of our clients and deliver measurable learning outcomes that help to minimise risk, improve operator safety and enhance production efficiencies.”
