Lettings business opens second office

Residential lettings company Monkey vs Owl (MOVO) has opened its second office in the East Midlands and expanded its team.

The company opened its first office in Derby in 2017 and its second office in Loughborough will be managed by recently appointed Amelia Federici.

Federici has joined Monkey vs Owl having previously worked for three years in the United Arab Emirates managing the contemporary department of Level Shoes concept department store in the iconic Dubai Mall.

She said: “Monkey vs Owl has brought a fresh approach to the industry – developing a digital platform that takes the pain out of residential lettings for both the landlords and tenants and showcases the best of local businesses, venues and attractions.

“Having returned home to the UK, I am very much looking forward to using my sales and marketing experience in this fast-moving industry.”

Managing director Chris Monk said: “Expanding into Loughborough was a natural move for the company.

“Our target markets are students, graduates and young professionals who are drawn here due to the high calibre education and career opportunities here and we already have a number of high quality multi-occupancy properties in this area which are ideal for these prospective tenants.

“As well as building our relationships with landlords and expanding the property portfolio in the Loughborough area, we are forging ahead with further expansion plans in other key towns and cities in the Midlands.”
