New company takes control of intu Victoria Centre

A new company has taken control of the intu Victoria Centre in Nottingham,
Intu SGS has landed £30m of investment to take control of the Nottingham mall, along with intu Watford, Lakeside and Braehead in Glasgow.
intu’s creditors have voted through the move. The stricken firm will continue to manage the centres, Intu SGS is looking to take full control of the four centres and is likely succeed later this year.
A spokesperson for Intu SGS said: “The positive vote today underlines the significant support we have from our creditors.”
“The proposals that we have agreed today provide us with the stable financial platform to move forward as we continue to recover from the impact of Covid-19.
“Creditors have also agreed to inject up to £30 million of new money if required, in a further statement of support.”
intu collapsed into administration in June.
