First phase of care development completes

The first phase of construction work at the Harrier House Care & Nursing Home in Hucknall has been completed.

Adept Care Homes and Nottingham-based residential care home builders Wynbrook has recently completed the ‘topping out’ ceremony.

The name Harrier House has been chosen because its historical link to the town and the home’s location which is adjacent to the Harrier Park development site.

Dave Lock, managing director at Adept Care Homes, said: “After the success of Chetwynd House in Chilwell, we wanted to provide another high-quality care home but with an additional offering of nursing care to the Nottinghamshire community. Having worked with Wynbrook on previous projects, we have come to trust their expertise and have confidence that the finished build will be completed to the highest standards.”

Once completed, the multi-million pound Harrier House will provide residents with amenities such as a shop, café, pub, private dining and cinema.
