Aerospace engineering firm plans new HQ

A firm which designs and provides changes or repairs for aeroplanes has revealed plans to build a new 9,200 sq ft head office on the site of a former pub in Spondon, Derby.

STC Twenty One has lodged plans with Derby City Council to build the new base at 100 Nottingham Road, on the site of the vacant Crown Inn pub.

The new development would have space for 16 cars.

STC Twenty One is currently based at Alvaston, but has bought the site in Spondon after outgrowing their existing premises. All staff will move to the new base.

If given planning approval, the company will create four jobs at its new headquarters.
