Managed service provider snaps up cloud services firm in multimillion-pound deal
Newark managed service provider Timico acquired Cambridge-based Arcus Cloud Services (ACS), the Amazon Web Services (AWS) advanced consulting firm, in a multimillion-pound deal.
The deal will see ACS add to Timico’s growing cloud capability and its continued investment into the UK public sector market – complementing its recent appointment to the G-Cloud 12 Framework.
Timico says the move will bring new opportunities for both Timico and ACS customers through a broadening of digital services, delivering long-term partnerships across a growing corporate, public sector and enterprise customer base, with traditional SMB and telephony customers now representing less than 10% of total revenues.

Timico and ACS will continue to operate autonomously under their respective brands.
