Niki Redwood

Nottingham-based legal software vendor Peppermint Technology has appointed Niki Redwood as chief financial officer (CFO).

She joins Peppermint from her role as CFO at Microsoft partner Nasstar, a leading provider of managed IT and cloud services to a range of industries, including many UK law firms.

Redwood said: “The commercial proposition of a software as a service (SaaS) business has long-term, strategic customer partnerships at its core – something that aligns very much with my background and strengths.”

The FHP quartet stepping up

FHP Property Consultants has promoted Oliver Marshall, Chris Proctor, Sian Cawthorne and Darran Severn to associate director.

Alan Pearson, director, FHP, said: “We take pride in rewarding talented and ambitious people at every level of our business. Sian, Oliver, Chris and Darran have all demonstrated an outstanding commitment to their clients over a sustained period, providing a consistent quality of advice, service and market knowledge. The success they have achieved in a challenging market is testament to their dedication and professionalism. The strength of our business is reflected in the continued development of our employees and these promotions show that there is a clear pathway to progression at FHP.

“Our ongoing investment in talent is a key component of our continued success across multiple markets.”

Eleanor Carty

SDL Property Auctions has taken on three apprentices.

Ella Scott, Genevieve Cooper and Eleanor Carty, all aged 19, are receiving vocational training in all aspects of the business while working towards NAEA Propertymark qualifications.

Commercial director Louise Moss said: “There are many different opportunities in the business so we don’t want to pigeonhole them into one particular role; we want to play to their strengths to find a place in the business for their unique talents so that hopefully they will be with us for many years to come.”
