More than 100 jobs created at huge Jaguar Land Rover dealership
The construction of a major Jaguar Land Rover dealership for Guy Salmon in Northampton has been completed by main contractor MCS Group
The Midlands-based construction company has delivered a 65,700 sq ft dealership including a showroom, workshop, cosmetic bay and valet areas with external and roof deck parking, on behalf of Sytner Group, on a 431,000 sq ft site.
The Guy Salmon development at Swan Valley Industrial Estate was funded by Aviva Investors and has achieved BREEAM Very Good status.
An existing waterway has been diverted with the creation of a new culvert, as designed by project engineers Rodgers Leask. A new maintenance road has also been provided for the canal authorities. Architects were Taylor Design Architects and Faithful + Gould were employer’s agent and quantity surveyors on the project.

“The new Guy Salmon dealership at Swan Valley Industrial Estate is highly impressive and is expected to create more than 100 jobs for local people. It’s a project we are very proud of and I’d like to thank everyone involved in this major construction project.”
