Law firm adds two to commercial property team

Law firm Flint Bishop has announced the appointment of an additional two real estate lawyers.

Associate, Amanda Huggins, has joined from Newhall Solicitors and will be based at Flint Bishop’s Birmingham office.

Edward Drury has been hired as a solicitor at the firm’s Derby headquarters, having previously spent two years at Elliot Mather.

The latest appointments at Flint Bishop see the total headcount of its real estate practice rise to 16 across its Derby and Birmingham offices, which includes six partners and two associates.

Flint Bishop’s chief executive, Qamer Ghafoor, said: “I am delighted to welcome Amanda and Edward to the firm.

“Their appointments come at the end of another successful year which has seen a record number of new hires across the business. Our recruitment drive is set to continue well into 2022 to support and grow our diverse portfolio of clients across the Midlands and throughout the UK.
