Enhancing SME productivity through innovation is the holy grail for SMEs and will be the subject of our forthcoming networking lunch event, to be held at Bar Esca in Nottingham on Wednesday 9th March.

New tools and technology have come to the fore during the pandemic that could present a once-in-a-generation chance for businesses to improve their productivity.

This lunch, held in conjunction with Nottingham Trent University, will feature a panel-led discussion looking at how your business can harness the latest technology including computing, data science, and support available on operational management systems.

Join us for what will be a fascinating event.

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is offering funded support to SMEs in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, to improve their productivity and accelerate business growth through the Productivity through Innovation (PtI) project.

The Pti project team will work closely with the SME to understand their business and identify any barriers to performance, resulting in a tailor-made package of support of one or both of the options below:

  • Fully-funded consultancy with NTU academics and/or technical experts with industry experience.
  • A grant to fund 20% of a salary for a graduate-level role for up-to 12 months, to address a skills gap alongside support with the recruitment process. The candidate can be a graduate from NTU or another university within the last 3 years.

This project is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
