Nottingham-based creative agency, Warbox, has launched a new web offering following its latest hire.
Owen Mumby-Harrison has joined Warbox as a senior developer with more than ten years of experience and will work with commercial director, Phil Kelsey, to expand the agency’s web offering.
The web development team has already secured a number of significant new client wins, including Baldwin Property Group and Dack Motor Group.
Kelsey said: “The launch of our web development arm supports the growth of Warbox’s strategic brand development and follows the expansion of our creative and client services teams at the end of 2021.
“Owen and I will combine more than two decades’ experience in the web development and tech space, and we are seeking to create the perfect formula based on our previous agency experience.
“We have added a huge amount of talent and experience to our creative team in recent months and this, combined with our new web offering will cement our position as one of the major brand players in the East Midlands.”
Professor Richard Giulianotti has been appointed as Loughborough University’s UNESCO chair in sport, physical activity and education for development.
Giulianotti will now lead a team based primarily in the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences to further advance knowledge and strengthen policy and practice in how sport, physical activity and education may be used most effectively for development purposes.
“Sport, physical activity and education are vital aspects of modern societies throughout the world and are being utilised in creative ways for development purposes, particularly with young people in the global South,” said Professor Giulianotti.
He added: “The team at Loughborough University are committed to making a major contribution to this global field of activity, through research, teaching, partnerships with key stakeholders such as local communities and policy-makers, and international collaborations with fellow researchers and students.”
