Fraser Wanless & Ilse Normington

Hallam has announced two new appointments.

UX Designer Ilse Normington and creative copywriter Fraser Wanless have joined the experience team at the Nottingham-based agency.

Normington has a wealth of experience across a range of sectors including retail, banking, fashion and eCommerce.

Wanless, a Fine Art graduate, brings 25 years’ copywriting experience to Hallam having worked for agencies in Nottingham, Manchester and London.

Kier Humphreys, experience director at Hallam, said: “Ilse and Fraser bring a variety of experience that broadens Hallam’s offer but, more importantly, they are both exceptionally talented and likeable individuals. They have immediately settled into the team, are a hit with our clients and haven’t paid me a thing to say this. The team is going from strength to strength, and it’s an exciting period of growth.”

Construction Testing Solutions (CTS) has appointed a new group M&A director.

Ollie Devine

Ollie Devine will work alongside CEO Phil Coles and CFO Richard Piper to deliver the Leicester-based group’s buy and build strategy.

Devine trained as a chartered accountant and has worked for KPMG, independent corporate finance advisory firm Orbis Partners and the private equity backed company Funeral Partners.

Richard Piper said: “Alongside accelerating organic growth across our existing brands, M&A is one of the key pillars of CTS’s growth strategy and Ollie will be a great asset to us, as we look to expand our geographical presence and add complementary businesses to the Group. His knowledge and advice will be considerably important as we look to acquire and integrate innovative companies that can help continue to build on our position as the market leader in the construction testing, inspection and consulting sector.”
