New Korean Japanese restaurant to open in Nottingham
A new Korean Japanese restaurant is set to open in Nottingham, promising “hearty soups” and “scrumptious sushi”.
Kokoro will be based at 7-8 Exchange Walk in the city and will be one of over 50 Kokoro venues nationwide.
Established inKingston-upon-Thames, Kokoro started out as a small Korean-Japanese restaurant, founded by Rak-Kyu Park just over a decade ago.
Kokoro in Japanese translates to “heart, mind or soul”. The firm says the key to its success is simple: it keeps its food tasty, fresh and healthy.
The new restaurant will create 10 jobs. It will be Kokoro’s second in the East Midlands, and follows a similar restaurant in Leicester.
