Nottingham cocktail bar eyes expansion plans

One of Nottingham longest-established cocktail bars could be set to expand.

Brass Monkey, which opened in 1999, wants to extend its opening hours and open on the second and third floor of its home at 11 High Pavement in the Lace Market area of the city.

If the licensing application is granted, the bar will have permission to stay open until 5am.

Brass Monkey describes itself as a “late night cocktail bar boasting great drinks and a great atmosphere”.

At the weekend, the bar launched a new menu.
