Hair replacement specialist expands in Derby
A Derby-based hair replacement business has expanded in the city after winning Derbion’s independent retail initiative, Hatch.
The Hair Repair Club was founded by Tom Walker to provide non-surgical hair replacements to men of all ages. The company has been in business for nearly five years and operates a network of salons and training academies across the UK.
The Chaddesden firm opened its first standalone store at Derbion on Friday 4 November after winning a competition to take up residence at the flagship shopping centre for a period of six weeks, completely rent-free.
Walker said: “We’re excited to have officially opened the doors to our first standalone store at Derbion, after winning the Hatch initiative. Our store offers a non-judgmental safe space and men of all ages who are interested in learning more about our non-surgical hair systems are more than welcome to pop in at any time to talk to our friendly team to discover how we can help restore their confidence with our range of service.
“We look forward to this new chapter of The Hair Repair Club and to welcoming existing and new customers to our first ever store!”
The company’s arrival at Derbion follows a raft of new lettings at the retail and leisure destination, with Ted Baker, 200 Degrees, Burger & Sauce, Søstrene Grene and Popeyes® Louisiana Kitchen all joining the centre’s roster in the past few months.
