Healthcare software provider appointed to prestigious public sector framework

Burton-based healthcare scheduling software provider BookWise Solutions has won a place on the Crown Commercial Service’s G-Cloud 13 framework.

The G-Cloud 13 Framework, which replaced the previous G-Cloud 12 this November, is an online catalogue that helps public sector organisations to browse and implement cloud-based services. It gives access to the latest technology and innovation, along with associated support services.

BookWise has been named on the Cloud software Lot 2 title, through which customers can procure its BookWise Outpatients system. The scheduling software has been developed specifically to help Outpatients teams visualise and book rooms and resources at a click of a button, providing transparency around room availability and increased efficiency for hospitals and trusts.

Denise Williamson, managing director at BookWise Solutions, said: “We’re delighted to have been accepted as a part of the Government-Cloud 13 framework. It’s a great achievement to be a part of an online service that gives access to 40,000 services and 5,000 suppliers in the UK.

“It’s important that we can help the NHS do its crucial work as efficiently as possible as resources are stretched and time is valuable. Moving to cloud-based systems for every process – including room booking – helps users streamline and improve their working procedures, resulting in less administration, emails and telephone calls.”

Williamson added: “We currently work with 104 NHS Trusts and are looking forward to collaborating with more in the future to help revolutionise their old systems, guaranteeing improved efficiency, transparency, and cost savings.”
