Leicester bar doubles staff numbers after busy year
Leicester-based bar Sophy is celebrating a successful year after doubling staffing numbers due to a growing customer base.
Sophy’s offering has expanded throughout the year with it now offering dedicated Spanish and Latin nights. It prides itself on being a breeding ground for up-coming DJs, promoters and events.
A statement from Sophy said: “What really excites us about Leicestershire is the dynamic scene it offers. We’re honoured to be the place chosen by upcoming talented and passionate individuals who begin to make their way in the local music scene.”
Sophy has also begun to become a place for young professionals to hang out after work.
Owner Shivani Manoj Kumar said: “We are actively looking to collaborate with businesses and networking groups who would like to use our premises to host great events. We have a private function area downstairs as well as our fantastic cocktail menu upstairs. If you are a company that would like to use our premises, then please get in touch.”
