Avant Homes welcomes land director to drive ongoing expansion

Nottingham-based Avant Homes East Midlands has appointed Neil Ballett as its new land director.

Neil Ballett brings 29 years of experience in the housing industry, having previously worked at Taylor Wimpey. 

Ballett assumes responsibility for managing the future land pipeline at Avant Homes East Midlands. This entails overseeing the identification of new land opportunities, handling the acquisition and legal procedures related to purchasing sites, and ensuring the successful attainment of planning consent for the company.

 Avant Homes East Midlands managing director, Ben Felton, said: “With our expansion plans well underway, it’s the perfect time to welcome Neil to the land team to support in finding new land opportunities and grow our pipeline of developments.

 “With his wealth of knowledge and experience, he is an excellent leader to add to our senior management team and will play a key role in Avant Homes East Midlands’ continued progression.”

Presently, Avant Homes Group operates in the Midlands, northern England, and Scotland through eight regional operating businesses, with over 600 employees.

The company’s medium-term strategic goal is to sell more than 6,000 new homes annually.
