Triple land acquisition strengthens Midlands developer’s presence

Owl Group, a Midlands-based home builder with headquarters in Tamworth, has acquired three land sites within the region.

It has secured a 6.39-acre development site in Higham on the Hill, Leicestershire, with outline planning permission for 61 homes. Of these homes, 36 will be available for private sale, while 25 will be designated as affordable homes.

Another acquisition involves a 41-home development site on Habberley Road in Bewdley, Worcestershire, with reserved matters planning permission for various home sizes. Thirty-one homes will be offered for private sale, and the remaining 10 will be managed as affordable homes by Citizen Homes.

In addition, Owl Partnerships, a part of Owl Group, has embarked on its largest affordable housing project in Leicester. Collaborating with Nottingham Community Housing Association, they have acquired a former warehouse site with full planning permission for constructing 100 affordable homes. The development plan encompasses a mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and four-bedroom homes, totaling 100 units.
