Nottingham charity launches Big Sleep Out campaign

Framework, the Nottingham charity, has launched its annual Big Sleep Out campaign to raise funds to assist the increasing number of local rough sleepers.

The campaign invites teams from local businesses to spend a night in sleeping bags at Nottingham Racecourse on October 7th.

This event provides a chance for businesses to show their support in making a difference by pledging funds that will directly help rough sleepers in Nottingham.

The framework provides diverse support services including housing, health, employment, and care across the East Midlands in areas like Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

Sponsorship options are open, covering the program, website, stalls at the big sleep out village, and social media exposure. Businesses can also sponsor specific areas like the silent disco, children’s area, or cinema.

Framework’s event fundraiser Natalie Dickson says: “The Big Sleep Out is the chance to be part of something worthwhile for a good cause. Sleeping outside in the elements for a single cold October night is challenging enough but, unfortunately, it’s something more and more people have to endure every night.

“Framework’s big sleep out is an opportunity for like-minded people to come together, enjoy a great evening and raise funds for a deserving cause – helping people in need by sleeping out so others don’t have to and providing support that can change lives.”
