New associate hire for Nottingham law firm
A new associate has been hired into the personal injury team at law firm, Nelsons.
Hannah Manewell, who will be based in the firm’s Nottingham office, started her career in personal injury as a paralegal, following completion of her university degree in 2007. She qualified as a solicitor in 2016, and most recently worked at Rotheras Solicitors.
She said: “I was drawn to Nelsons after hearing brilliant things about its culture and its reputation for excellent service. My main areas of specialism are serious injury claims such as brain, spinal and orthopaedic injury. I know there is an established team here that has a deep understanding of these areas, so I’m looking forward to working with colleagues that I can really learn from.
“From the start of my legal career assisting and advising on personal injury claims, I’ve worked with so many lovely clients, dealing with cases involving everything from mining to road traffic accidents. One of the things I enjoy most about working on personal injury cases is building strong relationships with clients and helping them through the claims process which can feel very daunting. I can support and reassure those clients when they are going through a difficult time in their life.”
Manewell will be working alongside partner and solicitor, Lisa Preece, who heads up the team and specialises in serious brain injury cases.
Preece said: “We are so pleased to welcome Hannah into the team. Her experience and motivation to do the best for clients made her a great fit for us. We’ll be focusing on getting Hannah into more serious injury work where we can really help grow her knowledge and experience.
“Bringing fresh talent helps to keep our team rejuvenated, and as it is such a specialist area of law that Nelsons is known for, we really want to ensure its longevity. I’m excited to get Hannah working on cases as soon as possible and seeing her progression with the team in the coming months and years.”
