Midlands construction company lands £2m contract for manufacturing facility

Russell Roof Tiles has awarded a £2m construction contract to RL Harrison Construction, for its new £18.5m manufacturing facility in Burton on Trent.

The roof tiling company announced the new project in May and early site preparations have already begun for the new factory and production line.

The construction of the new manufacturing facility is slated for completion by the summer of 2024, with the existing site maintaining its production activities throughout.

It will create approximately 25-30 new engineering and maintenance jobs and involves supply partners from Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and the UK.
