On the move: the latest East Midlands hires
Immediate Media Co, the special interest content and platform company, has appointed Dan Hutson as managing director of Nottingham-based Nutracheck, the weight management and dietary improvement platform.
Hutson has over a decade of senior leadership experience, working across data, insight and product and tech. He joins Nutracheck from Constellation Automotive Group where he was group product and design director. Hutson previously held senior data, digital and product roles at Compare the Market.
He said: “I’m really pleased to join Nutracheck. As one of the biggest digital subscription apps in the UK, I’m looking forward to working with the talent team to further build on the incredible success they’ve already achieved and continuing their unrelenting focus on their customers. I’m also excited at of being part of Immediate’s market-leading Food media business and the growth opportunities it offers Nutracheck.”
Hutson will work closely with Immediate’s Food MD, Jessica Norell Neeson.
She said: “I’m delighted to welcome Dan to Immediate and Nutracheck. With a proven track record in driving customer-centric digital businesses and developing new digital products, Dan is well placed to continue to develop the Nutracheck business and help develop our digital content and product offer.”
Northampton construction consultancy Bhangals Construction Consultants has promoted two members of staff directors of the business.
Former operations manager Katie Newman is now associate operations director and Harrison Baxter, who was previously estimating manager at the firm, has been named associate estimating director.
Newman said: “I’m thrilled to announce my new role. From starting out as an administrator five years ago to being where I am now is something I’m extremely proud of and I’m incredibly grateful to be a part of such an amazing team. I’m so excited for the journey ahead!”
Baxter said: “I am so excited about this promotion. My journey throughout the last five years has been unimaginable and I have grown within the business and within myself by a staggering amount.
“I am excited for what this new opportunity brings and can’t wait to hit future goals with our amazing team.”
