Second East Midlands office for professional services firm

Phil Morton

Professional services firm Leonard Curtis has officially opened its new office premises on Ashby Road in Loughborough.

This is the second site for Leonard Curtis in the East Midlands, which has historically been served by a team in the Barlborough office near Chesterfield.

Leonard Curtis associate director Phil Morton – who has been collaborating with companies in the East Midlands area for three years – is leading the Loughborough location alongside Kelly McGrath, from Leonard Curtis’s funding division.

Morton said: “Given the current inflationary pressures businesses are facing, along with high interest rates, these are tough times for business owners which will continue into 2024.

“But with another Leonard Curtis office in the East Midlands region, businesses in this area always have someone to turn to for support.

“Seeking advice at an early stage is paramount and not a sign of failure by the business owner. There are always options available but the earlier they are considered, the more likely of a successful turnaround.”

McGrath added: “Listening to the clients’ needs and ensuring they are given the right advice or solution for their situation is key.

“Time is usually of the essence in these situations and with our new Loughborough location we can be on hand to help quickly with face to face advice.”

Sean Williams, director of Leonard Curtis, said: “Personal support has never been more important for business owners.

“We’ve had a presence in the East Midlands for several years, but this new office will give us additional capacity to put in the necessary facetime with key stakeholders to offer practical advice they can implement to rescue or repair their company.”
