Logistics firm sold in pre-pack deal for just £35,000

A Leicester logistics firm which called in administrators in October was sold in a pre-pack deal for just £35,000, TheBusinessDesk.com understands.

G Force Group, which trades as Gee Force Logistics, was based in Whetstone in Leicestershire, and offered services including distribution, storage, packing, point of sale assembly and label production.

Chris Hobbis, a director of Translink Express Logistics made the offer for the company, which was accepted. The firm which bought G Force Group was called Parcel Flow.

G Force had posted an application to be placed into administration through law firm Schofield Sweeney at the beginning of September.

The firm’s latest accounts, made up to the end of June 2022, show that the company made a profit of £138,661 – up by just under £4,000 from the previous year.
