Family-owned printing firm calls in administrators

A Leicester print and packaging firm has collapsed into administration

Greenshires Group, which can trace its roots back to 1963, and is owned by the Yell family, called in administrators from FRP Advisory on February 23, TheBusinessDesk.com understands.

Greenshires’ website says the company is in the processing of rebranding. It describes itself as a full-service print and packaging hub encompassing litho, carton, point-of-sale and “very shortly the very best in rigid box design, print and production”.

The company’s latest accounts, made up to the end of March 2023, show the company employed 53 people at the time, while it owed creditors £2.8m.
