Tech firm powers into electric vehicle charging market
A Derby-based technology firm has announced its expansion into the electric vehicle (EV) charging industry, pledging 99% charge point availability using its existing field engineering capabilities.
Barron McCann, an independent IT maintenance and installation provider for companies like Pets at Home, Iceland, and Papa Johns, made the announcement at the EV Summit this week.
The Midlands-based company, an official partner at the conference, operates in the retail, hospitality, leisure, and public sectors, offering 24/7 managed support and field service engineering.
The company is in talks with EV charge point operators and manufacturers and expects to start installation and maintenance soon.
