Nottingham Venues announces new CEO and senior staff promotions
Tom Waldron-Lynch, who joined Nottingham Venues as General Manager in 2017, has been appointed to a new position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), a new role created for him. Key senior staff Kerry Pritchett and Peter Bartlett have also been promoted.
Waldron-Lynch joined the business when it was part of DeVere group and has navigated the team through its transition over the last five years. More recently, he has become a board member for Marketing Nottingham, and is eager to raise the county’s profile as a leading business and leisure destination.
His new role reflects Waldron-Lynch’s work to date, and the ongoing role he will play in raising the profile of Nottingham Venues across the country.
Kerry Pritchett, current Operations Manager, has been promoted to Hotel Manager at the Jubilee Hotel and Conferences, and Peter Bartlett, Orchard Hotel Manager, has become General Manager Orchard Hotel and East Midlands Conference Centre (EMCC). These promotions reflect their responsibilities following recent enhancement of the facilities within the Jubilee Campus and EMCC.
Tom Waldron-Lynch, CEO of Nottingham Venues, said: “I am pleased that the hard work of my colleagues Peter and Kerry has been recognised and I am sure they will both be instrumental in the future development of Nottingham Venues. I am excited about the future of Nottingham Venues and look forward to the company playing an important role in supporting the growth of the visitor economy in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.”
Nottingham Venues is a collection of hospitality destinations located on the University of Nottingham’s campuses – including the Orchard Hotel & Restaurant, the Jubilee Hotel and the East Midlands Conference Centre. It provides meeting space from five to 1,000 delegates, with over 40 meeting rooms, 2,000 sq ft of exhibition space and 300 bedrooms at the Orchard Hotel and Jubilee Hotel combined.
