Truck and trailer hire firm hits the skids
A Derbyshire truck and trailer rental business is facing an uncertain future, TheBusinessDesk.com understands.
PT Hire, which is based in Swadlincote, has posted a notice of intention to appoint administrators via law firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys. The move will protect the family firm from creditor action for a period of around 10 days.
In its latest accounts, made up to the end of March 2023, PT Hire had net assets of just over £1.2m. At the time it employed 14 people.
PT Hire, which describes itself as “one of the UK’s most widely respected providers of commercial vehicle contract hire and rental solutions” on its website, has been contacted for comment.
