Reader begins new chapter as head of HR at law firm

Sarah Reader has been appointed as head of HR at law firm Smith Partnership.

Reader has 18 years’ experience in the industry across a variety of sectors, havin previously worked in the NHS and at a Multi Academy Trust. She is a member of The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and is a qualified mental health first aider.

She said: “The visions the firm has, in relation to the HR function, was one of the major appeals of the role. The culture surrounding their staff really resonated with me – there’s not many companies that can boast some of the lengths of service we currently have and that speaks volumes.”

Reader added: “I can’t wait to get stuck into developing the HR function. I feel there is so much we can do to support the firm in delivering its vision and values for growth in the coming years. I’m looking forward to developing our people strategy and working with our stakeholders.”
