On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Scott Armitage and Scott Challinor

Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) has appointed two new assistant directors to support its Property Services and Assets department.

Kaye Challinor will head up the ongoing maintenance and planned improvements to NCHA’s 10,000 homes as assistant director of assets. Having worked at NCHA since 2017, Challinor oversaw the introduction of the in-house repairs service earlier this year prior to securing this new role.

Scott Armitage has joined from Fortem as part of the contractual change to responsive repairs. He will take the role of assistant director of property services.

A spokesperson for NCHA said: “Both Kaye and Scott bring leadership skills, experience and energy. They will be instrumental in supporting the department’s trend of service improvements and look forward to delivering a continued increase in customer satisfaction.”

Rick Hall

Developer Crossover Property has hired Rick Hall as site manager.

Hall will oversee the development and conversion of the historic Mills Warehouse in Newark, a multimillion-pound regeneration project to transform the disused site into a residential scheme.

Hall has over three decades of experience managing construction works on a variety of high-profile developments for both the public and private sectors.

In his role at Crossover Property, Hall will be responsible for the day-to-day operations on site.

“We are delighted to be working alongside Rick,” said James Cross, managing director of Crossover Property.

“His experience in handling complex developments will help us deliver this project to the high standards we are known for. This insight and proficiency will be invaluable during the transformation of this property, particularly as we aim to restore and maintain the heritage of such an impressive site.”
