On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Planning & Design Practice has announced two new additions to its team, which comprises RTPI Chartered town planners, RIBA Chartered Architects and architectural assistants, plus heritage specialists.

Part II architectural assistant Beth White joined PDP in the summer of 2024.

After studying for her BArch undergraduate degree in architecture at the University of Lincoln, White then completed her MArch Master’s degree at Nottingham Trent University, before graduating in 2023.

Mollie Arif joined the planning team in May 2024 as a planner and works closely with the Heritage team.

Arif graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2020 with a BA in Geography and from the University of Sheffield in 2021 with an MA in Urban Design and Planning.

Having completed an MSc in Urban Planning at Sheffield Hallam University in September 2024, Arif is now working towards her RTPI chartership on the Degree Apprenticeship pathway and is expecting to submit her APC in the Summer of 2025.

Commercial property agency Innes England has strengthened its team with the appointment of Kulbinder Mann as facilities, compliance and health and safety manager.

Mann brings nearly 35 years of industry experience to the role.

Starting his career as a quality engineer in 1990, he has since developed expertise in health and safety management.

He has held advisory positions with firms such as Balfour Beatty and Barron McCann, working with leading retail companies.

He said: “Throughout my career, I’ve worked across a variety of sectors, and I’m delighted to bring my knowledge and expertise to Innes England. This new role is an exciting opportunity, and I look forward to enhancing the services we offer to our clients while ensuring we maintain the highest standards.

“It’s clear from the outset that Innes England places great emphasis on maintaining a safe and compliant environment with regards to the properties that they manage, and I’m eager to contribute to this culture.”
