Nottingham & Nottinghamshire tourism sees over £2bn growth

Marketing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, along with Visit Nottinghamshire and its partners, have reported strong growth in the region’s tourism sector.
According to the latest 2023 STEAM tourism data, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire have seen an increase in tourism.
In 2023, the total economic impact of tourism in Nottingham city and county reached £2.36bn, a 15.4% increase compared to the previous year.
The region welcomed 34.33m visitors in 2023, a 4.12% rise from the previous year, with average spending per visitor increasing by 10.81% to £68.94 per trip.
Tourism also supports several local jobs, with the sector sustaining 22,437 full-time equivalent (FTE) positions, a 9.33% growth from the previous year.
