On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Haydon Simmonds

HCR Law’s Banking and Finance team has welcomed Haydon Simmonds, a corporate banking specialist, to the firm as a partner.

Simmonds brings a wealth of industry experience, as he focuses on serving clients across Central England and the East Midlands.

He will be based in the firm’s Northampton office.

With a track record of advising on multi-million-pound funding packages across sectors such as automotive retail, housebuilding and healthcare, his expertise is well-established in the Midlands market.

Specialising in corporate banking for both lenders and borrowers, Simmonds has a particular focus on the real estate sector.

His addition strengthens the team’s already extensive capabilities, empowering clients with tailored financial solutions for growth and effective strategies to navigate complex challenges.

Loughborough-based The Access Group has appointed Chee Gay Lim as the new managing director of its Global Operations Centre (GOC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Lim will lead operations focusing on customer experience, as The Loughborough-based Access Group continues its global expansion.

Previously, he served as the global chief human resources officer at TDCX, where he scaled the workforce from 3,000 to 19,000 employees and launched 10 new operational sites in just seven years.

He has also held leadership roles at AIA, Samsung, T-Systems, and Intel, and continues to inspire as an Adjunct Professor at three universities.
