Law firm relocates Leicester office in ‘important’ move

Colton Square

Law firm Knights has relocated its Leicester office from Pocklington Walk to Colton Square.

Knights inherited the Pocklington Walk office when it bought Spearing Waite in an £8.5m deal in 2018.

The new Colton Square office is 3,245 sq ft and will accommodate 60 staff.

Jessica Neyt, client services director at Knights, said: “This is an important moment for our team in Leicester and signals the start of the next phase of our growth as a business. This fantastic new office provides an environment to match the service our team offers.

“Colton Square gives our clients even better access to the comprehensive range of support we offer as the largest regional legal services business in the UK.”

The move follows the arrival in the Leicester office last month of partner Waheeda Ali and associate Kate Herbert who joined the residential property team alongside disputes lawyer Ruth Jewell who joins as a senior associate.

“Our team and clients are at the heart of all that we do and this move ensures that our Leicester colleagues have the same outstanding quality workspace as the rest of our national team and it places us in the ideal location in the city to provide clients with a first-class service in a premium setting,” said Jo Beech, group operations director at Knights.
