Work begins on residential development in Nottinghamshire

Construction has begun on a long-vacant plot in Bramcote, paving the way for a new residential development just outside Beeston.
This stage marks the second phase of a wider development, named Baxter Green, which will feature 12 two-bedroom apartments alongside 10 four and five-bedroom homes.
Located on Peache Way, the project follows a first phase delivered by William May Developments in 2020, which introduced a variety of family homes.
Several homes are expected to be completed by autumn 2025, and an on-site sales suite will open in May.
Maria Barker, sales manager at Baxter Green said: “We’re looking forward to bringing a range of high-quality apartments and homes to an area which is becoming increasingly popular for purchasers moving to or relocating within Nottinghamshire.
These properties will be unique to anything else available within such close proximity to Beeston. Underfloor heating, flooring and Stephen Christopher Kitchens will come as standard, with a superior build quality, unique design and a location which benefits from a number of vital commuter links.”
“Prices will be competitive for the location and specification on offer, with the apartments ranging from £325,000 – £390,000. Baxter Green will be perfect for young professionals and downsizers looking for a slice of suburban living and we’re excited to officially open the doors to our sales suite at the beginning of May.”
Local estate agent Robert Ellis has been appointed to handle sales at the site, with the sales suite set up at The Grove on Peache Way.
