Traffic update: Overturned lorry blocks A52
A overturned heavy goods vehicle is causing long delays just outside Nottingham city centre.
The A52 westbound in Nottinghamshire is closed between the A606 and the A60 near Ruddington for recovery of an overturned lorry.
The Highways Agency is advising motorists to take the A606 northbound in the direction towards West Bridgford and then join the A60 in the direction towards Nottingham City Centre.
At the junction with Queen’s Road turn left onto Queen’s Road and continue on the this road which will merge into Sheriffs Way and will then merge into Waterway Street West.
At the next junction turn left onto the A453 Queens Drive and continue southbound on this road until the junction with the A52 where you can re-join the westbound carriageway.
