Recruitment firm announces senior shake-up

East Midlands recruitment firm Macildowie has announced a reorganistion of its senior management team.
James Taylor moves to the role of managing director and Ian Machell to director of sales operations.
Taylor, who has been with Macildowie since 1997, is moving from the role of director of customer development and marketing and will now take the lead in delivering a business strategy entitled ‘Building Great Futures’.
He said: “I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved at Macildowie. As managing director, I now have the ultimate responsibility to deliver our strategy for growth, with particular focus on aligning everyone within the business to the same goal and consistently ensuring Macildowie is a great place to work.”
Ian Machell, who joined Macildowie as operations director in January, has been promoted to director of sales operations, and will head up operations for the entire business.
He said: “I am genuinely delighted to be taking up this role at the number one professional services recruiter in the Midlands. My focus will now be on ensuring we are attracting and retaining the right people to Macildowie in order to keep outstanding levels of client service.
“We also aim to fill an even higher proportion of our clients’ vacancies by ensuring that we continue to innovate and be ahead of the game when it comes to candidate attraction.”
Macildowie has offices in Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, Northampton and Milton Keynes.
