This weekend, enjoy a family day out at Chilwell Summer Carnival with arena performances, children’s rides, inflatables, games, refreshments, ponies, and a car boot sale. Entry is just a pound on the day for adults and children under five go free.

Celebrate the Armed Forces in Lincoln with a day of music, military displays, and a BBMF fly past. There is set to be displays and activities from the Army, RAF and the Royal Navy. Local bands and vocalists will also be performing at this event.

Location: Old Scouts RFC in Rushmere Road, Northampton
Enjoy a wide selection of craft ciders and sausages whilst listening to live music at this year’s sausage and cider festival. Artisans selling smoked hot dogs, sausage wraps, boerewors, cheese and chorizo toasties, artisan coffee and fiery chilli bites. Gluten-free sausages and vegetarian food available.
There will be a free family circus, clown shows, giant bubble blowing, circus skills workshops, gladiator joust and a bungee run available all weekend. A giant slide, obstacle course and trampolines for children could be the perfect entertainment for you and your children this weekend, especially as Sunday children go free.

Cycle Live returns this year with the Nottingham City Ride, the Great Notts Bike Ride and the Nottingham Grand Prix. The Nottingham City Ride offers families and beginners the chance to take part in 2.5, 7.5 and 10.5 mile routes around the canal ways of Nottingham.

SO Festival is the biggest family-friendly and completely free outdoor arts festival in the UK. The Festival will be visiting Mablethorpe, Horncastle, Alford, Louth, Spilsby and Woodhall Spa for one day each, finishing in Skegness for the finale weekend. Expect nine days of incredible performances, from mesmerising installations and daredevil stunts, to live music and family workshops.
