Print business searches for new offices

Nottingham-based IT and print business FCS Laser Mail is on the look-out for new premises following what it is calling “an extremely successful year”.
In May 2012, the Birmingham-headquartered business acquired Perspektiv in Nottingham and is now looking for a new office and warehouse facility in the city.
The firm, currently celebrating its 20th anniversary, specialises in multichannel communications, offering print services, data management, design, e-billing and online archiving.
Following a 10 per cent turnover increase in the past 12 months, FCS has expanded its Birmingham premises from 32,000 sq ft to 42,000 sq ft and will install four new printing, sorting and data management machines.
The £1m investment was funded with the support of both a commercial loan and a hire purchase facility from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking.
FCS Laser Mail has an annual turnover of £8m, which is forecast to increase by 10 per cent a year over the next three years. In the past 12 months, the firm has added 15 new jobs, bringing the current headcount to 100.
Mick Fay, managing director of FCS Laser Mail, said: “We’ve increased our turnover substantially in the past 12 months, which makes now the ideal time to pursue our expansion plans, enabling us to achieve scale and further consolidate our presence in the market.”
