Living Edge to pump £1m into new West Bridgford Gusto

The group behind the planned Gusto restaurant and bar in West Bridgford says it is set to spend £1m on its new outlet in the Nottingham suburb.
As TheBusinessDesk.com exclusively revealed last week, Living Edge, which used to own the Living Room on the edge of the Lace Market, is to create 50 jobs in booming West Bridgford.
A spokesperson for the company said: “West Bridgford is the right demographic for us, as an affluent suburban town/high street.
Also, Nottingham LivingRoom in its day was very kind to us.”
The new bar and restaurant in West Bridgford will be Living Edge’s first Gusto in the East Midlands – but that it might not be the last.
The spokesperson added: “We don’t have any further plans to open elsewhere in the East Midlands as yet, but we’re always looking for the right opportunity.
Gusto has also revealed its launch plan for when it opens next February. “We always run a series of softs for family and friends of the restaurant to ensure training is spot on before we open to the public,” said our source.
“And of course we are planning a VIP party to open our doors in style and make a real mark in West Bridgford.”
