Nottingham to host UK Corporate Games

Nottingham has won the rights to host next year’s Corporate Games – the largest annual multisport festival for businesses.

Although details are still to be confirmed, Nottingham will play host to the Games next July.

Simon Gray, the chief executive of Nottingham Means Business, said: “By working together, Marketing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, Nottingham City Council, Nottingham Conferences and the Principal Hayley Group were successful in convincing the Games’ organisers that Nottingham would be the perfect destination to stage this prestigious event next year.”

The Games will be based at the new £40m David Ross Sports Village at the University of Nottingham’s University Park Sports Centre. which will be the hub for the Games.

This year’s Corporate Games took place in Liverpool in June. The Games have been running every year in the UK since 2004.
