On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

David Livingstone, previously of Jurys Inn Sheffield, has been appointed general manager of Jurys Inn East Midlands Airport.
The hotel is currently undergoing a £3.5m refurbishment program.
A statement from Jury’s Inn said: “After a number of years of successfully running Jurys Inn Sheffield, Livingstone will be bringing his expertise to the East Midlands Airport hotel; helping to guide the refurbishment to completion and focusing on developing the Jurys Inn brand. ”
The Kedleston Country House has announced its new head chef, Joseph Wood, who brings with him a wealth of experience, awards and accolades.
Wood is highly experienced and brings over 18 years expertise to the role having worked in a number of award-winning establishments. He boasts an impressive CV with his previous experience including Restaurant Sat Bains, AA rosette and Michelin starred Fishers at Baslow Hall, 2 AA rosette East Lodge Horsley and most recently Breadsall Priory Marriott Hotel & Country Club.
Director Paul Harris commented: “We are really excited to have Joseph join as our new Head Chef; his extensive experience and culinary knowledge is impressive and he will be a credit to The Kedleston.
“We were really impressed by his experience and his exciting plans for The Kedleston. We certainly enjoyed the dishes he cooked at his interview and we look forward to sampling his new menus and are sure our diners will be as impressed as we are.”
